Inter- religion marriage sets an ideal.

Gadchiroli Jan. 19 (District Correspondent) Lade family from village Porla and Yenchilwar family from Mendha have set an ideal before the society by performing an inter religion marriage and hosting a reception publicly.

The marriage of one Suresh, a son of Rohidas Lade, who belongs to Buddhist religion was solemnized with one Mayawati, a daughter of Pisaram Yenchilwar from the Hindu religion recently with the consent of both the families in the court of Registrar of Marriages throwing away all the barriers of caste and religion.

The families did not stop just by solemnizing the marriage but arranged a public reception inviting social workers and public figures at village Porla. Dr. Mahesh Kopulwar, senior CPI leader, Hansraj Undirwade and Munishwar Borkar of the Republican Party, Bhashkarrao Meshram, Chairman of Dispute Free village committee, Hitendra Barsagade, Police Patil, Bapuji Farande, former Dy. Sarpancha, Keshaorao Samrutwar, Pradeep Bhaisare, Ashok Khobragade, Santosh Dashmukhe were prominently present at this programme.

The guests congratulated the families and the newly wed couple and also appreciated the initiative. The parents and relatives of both the bride and the bride groom, villagers and well wishers attended this programme in a large number and extended their best wishes and blessings to the couple.

This marriage has presently become a matter of wide discussion in the district.
