Hundreds get benefit under ‘Maha Rajaswa Abhiyan’.

Gadchiroli Sept. 22 (District Correspondent) The loan distribution meet was organized by the district administration in Gondwana University area recently to mark the Service Fortnight under Maharajswa Abhiyan that was organized

The meeting was inaugurated by Mr. Sanjay Meena, District Collector. Mr. Rahul Meena (IAS) was the special guest in the program. Mr. Yuvraj Tebhurne District Lead Bank Manager, Basavaraj Mastoli, District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, Mahendra Ganveer Tehsildar Gadchiroli, Sandeep Karale Project Director ATMA, Dhananjay Salve Block Development Officer were also prominently present.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Meena said that the necessary 14 services provided to the citizens will be speeded up now. Services such as various certificates, scheme grants, assistance and modifications have been planned to make available within a week after the submission of applications. It was pointed out that there was a lot of delay due to some reasons regarding the services coming under banks, revenue and Zilla Parishad. A circular will be issued to provide timely service to the citizens under Maharajswa Abhiyan by eliminating this error, he said.

Under Maharajswa Abhiyaan, the services and facilities of Revenue Department, Panchayat Samiti, Agriculture Department, Land Records, Forest Department, Health Department and other government departments were made available to citizens under one roof. In the loan disbursement meeting, a total of 14 nationalized and private banks set up stalls to provide loans to the citizens in easy manner.

Citizens took advantage of the available service facilities in this programme. The loans of Rs. 2 crore 62 lakh were sanctioned from 108 pending cases from banks. A total of 232 income certificates were issued, 67 eligible cases of the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar and Shravanbal Yojana were received, 106 beneficiaries were given the benefit by the Agriculture Department.

Also, a total of 37 ration cards were distributed to surrendered Naxals and other citizens. 26 citizens got their Aadhaar card corrected and new Aadhaar registered, 121 forms were received for linking Aadhaar along with voter card. Also 323 citizens were examined for health.

Under the loan disbursement programme, total of 951 cases were disposed of. Mr. Pradip Vahane, Taluka Agriculture Officer, Gajanan Bhadeswar, Regional Manager, Vidarbha Konkan Gramin Bank, Vinod Bitpalliwar Medical Officer were present. The said program was coordinated by Devendra Dahikar, Naib Tehsildar.
