Gondwana University’s youth festival Indradhanush begins.

Gadchiroli Oct. 18 (District Correspondent) ‘It is important to take the right decision to reach your goals. If you want to be successful in life, you should believe in yourself’, said southern film actress and model Alisha Melani (Gondwana University Alumni) while inaugurating the Inter College Cultural Youth Festival ‘Indradhanush-2023’, of the Gondwana University the other day.

The festival was inaugurated at Sumanand Hall. Dr. Anil Hirekhan, Reistrar of Gondwana University presided over the program. Science and Technology department’s Dr. Anil Chitade, NSS Director Dr. Shyam Khandare, Student Development Board Member. Dr. Emmanuel Kondra, Director of Student Development Priya Gedam were prominently present.

On this occasion, Ms. Melani interacted with the students and guided them on how to get opportunities in modelling and acting fields. ‘I am truly proud to be called today in the institute where I studied. I was very fond of learning. While studying, I got many opportunities to participate in many competitions in the university. Also participated in the state level rainbow competition.

Speaking from the chair, Dr. Anil Hirekhan said, nothing is ready-made, there has to be passion. Any goal in life should be big. It is important to work hard, set a goal and work hard to achieve it. Work hard to fulfil your dreams, desires, don’t be inferior. This rainbow festival is a platform to present the skills, he added.

Dr. Priya Gedam made an introductory speech and gave the details of the festival. Ms. Varsha Kolhe, Public Relations Officer conducted the programme and also proposed the vote of thanks.
