Gadchiroli April 1 (District Correspondent) ‘We pass the university exam but get a degree certificate but this is not enough for personality development. The guidance of this camp, the experience of experts and experienced persons from inside and outside the college is useful in real life. He asserted that in order to carry out the responsibility of the society by maintaining the foundation of knowledge throughout the life.

This was advised by Dr. Chandrakant Dorlikar, vice Principal of Mahatma Gandhi Art Science and Nasruddinbhai Panjwani College of Commerce Armori while speaking at the concluding function of the personality development camp was organized at the college recently under the guidance of Principal Dr. Lal Singh Khalsa.

Gondwana University, College Sports Department and Student Development Council organized this programme. The concluding program of this camp was presided over by Vice Principal of the college Dr. Chandrakant Dorlikar. Director of Department of Sports and Physical Education Dyaneshwar Thackeray and Head of Department of Zoology Prof. Dr. Jayesh Papadkar were prominently present.

In this seven-day camp Prof. Pundlik Vyahadkar spoke on ‘Competitive Exam Preparation and Interview Techniques’, Dr. Satish Kola spoke on ‘Positive Attitude and Personality Development’. Dr. Manoj Thawre on ‘Stress and Time Management’. Ms. Manishatai Donadkar, former ZP councilor spoke on the topic of ‘Female Personality Development’ and guided the students by narrating her experiences.

Apart from this, Dr. Vasantha Kahalkar spoke on the topic ‘Role of youth in rarely found plant conservation’, Mohnish Gahane, Ayurveda and Panchkarma expert spoke on the topic of ‘Strong Health and Today’s Youth’. Prof. Shashikant Gedam on the topic of ‘Personality Development through National Service Scheme’, Dr. Ganesh Khune from Mahatma Phule College Ashti guided  on the topic of ‘Leadership and Personality Development’.

There was interaction and among the students through question and answer session with the speakers. Many students responded that this guidance has benefited them personally.

Prof. Gajanan Borkar conducted the programme, Prof. Dnyaneshwar Thackeray proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Dilip Ghonmode, Prof. Sanjay Girdkar assisted. College professors and students from all branches took pains to make the program a success.
