Gadchiroli Dec. 28 (District Correspondent) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Bn.192 distributed blankets among the needy people under its civic Action Programme recently at Halewara, the most remote and naxal affected village the other day.
The blankets were distributed at the hands of Mr. Parmindar Singh, commandant of the battalion to the residents of Halewara, Petha, Punnur, Wattegatta, Kamke, Mohgaon, Tadpalli, Dhusguda etc coming under Halewara Police Station.
Mr. Neeraj Awasthi, Dy. Commandant, Tupeshkumar Chaudhari, Assistant Commandant, Akshay Patil, Incharge of Police Station, Nagesh shettiwar, Gokul Haberao, PSIs, Dhuta Mattami, Police Patil were also present prominently on the occasion.
More than 400 villagers participated in this programme. The programme will help the villagers in developing a feeling of security among them besides cordial relations with the security forces, hoped Mr. Parmindar Singh.
