Gadchiroli Feb. 11 (District Correspondent) There has been an increase in crime since the BJP government came to power. The incidents of firing in broad daylight are taking place yet as the government is not taking strict action on it. There is an atmosphere of fear among the common people and the BJP government is encouraging the criminals, alleged Mr. Abhijit Vanjari, MLC while speaking at the booth officials training meeting organized by Korchi Taluka Congress Committee recently at Korchi.

District Congress Committee President Mahendra Brahmanwade, Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Dr. Namdev Kirsan, former MLA Dr. Namdeo Usendi, Regional Secretary Dr. Nitin Kodwate, State Secretary Dr. Chandatai Kodwate,  Latatai Pedapalli, former District President Hasan Ali Gilani, Kisan Cell President Vamanrao Savakade were prominently present.

Mr. Wanjari further said that BJP government is working to mislead youth, women, workers, farmers and common citizens in the name of development. This government should be ousted in the coming elections, he said.

Mr. Brahmanwade expressed the opinion that the BJP government is also doing the work of grabbing the land of tribals through Zendepar and other mining projects in the district.

Also present at the meet were Mr. Ramdas Masram, Nagar Panchayat chief Ms. Harshalta Bhaisare, Korchi Taluka President Manoj Aggarwal, Armori Taluka President Milind Khobragade, Congress Leaders Harbaji More, Sadurubhai Bhamani, Hakimuddin Sheikh, Jagdish Kapoor, Rajaram Thakre, Ramdas Sakhre, Wasim Sheikh, Ramsuram Katenge, Parameshwara Lohbare, Rajesh Naitam, Uddhav Koreti, Premilatai Katege and many other congress workers.

The booth workers meetings were also organized at Gadchiroli, Chamorshi and Dhanora also in which hundreds of Congress workers participated.
