Centre Head of HSC exam. removed for bribe from students.

Gadchiroli March 10 (District Correspondent) The Centre In charge of HSC Examination Centre, Kurkheda (centre number 627) one Ambadas Kolhe has been dismissed from his duty as the Centre In charge as he was found taking bribe from the students for copying in the examination.

A video showing Kolhe taking bribe money from the students appearing for the HSC examination went viral on social media on Thursday. Taking serious cognizance of the said video, an enquiry was ordered against Kolhe. Mr. C. A. Puranik, Block Education Officer conducted the enquiry.

On getting the report of the enquiry and the instructions given by the Secretary, Divisional Board, Nagpur, Kolhe was dismissed from his duty today. Mr. Kalidas Sorte, Higher Secondary Teacher has been appointed as Centre In charge in his place, according to official press release.

A complaint has been lodged with the kurkheda Police Station regarding the malpractices on the said examination centre. Similarly, education Officer has also been asked to enquire into this matter.

Education Officer of Gadchiroli and Secretary of vigilance committee R. P. Nikam has informed that a stringent action will be taken against the guilty if any kind of malpractice is found on the examination centre.

The incident has spread quite a sensation in academic field here.
