Gadchiroli July 7 (District Correspondent) Carmel High School and Junior College commenced its new academic year with great zeal and enthusiasm Friday marked by a vibrant inaugural ceremony.

The day began with a spirited rally, followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, tilak ceremony and the distribution of smile-faced pencils to the eager students. The event continued with a captivating mime performance by teachers, underscoring the importance of values and respect, after which students solemnly took an oath to uphold these principles throughout the year.

The atmosphere turned poignant as teachers bestowed blessings upon the students, holding candles symbolising enlightenment and guidance. Principal Rev. Fr. Sinoj Sebastian CMI concluded the event with an inspiring address, emphasizing the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.

Administrator Rev. Fr. Anish CMI, Vice Principal Sr. Nancy Tom S.H, Pre- primary and Primary In charge Priya Thakare graced the occasion and contributed to its success besides the teachers.
