Gadchiroli Feb. 13 (District Correspondent) The book exhibition was organized by the well-known publication group Lok- Wangmay in memory of Comrade Govind Pansare at the Indira Square here recently.
The two day exhibition was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Rohidas Raut, Central vice President of All India Republican Party. Mr. Munishwar Borkar, social activist, presided while Dr. Mahesh Kopulwar, senior leader of CPI, Devrao Chawde of CPI, Raj Bansod of BRSP, Hansraj Undirwade of AIRP, Vilas Nimborkar of Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, Vasantrao Kulsange, tribal activist, Adv. Jagdish Meshram were prominently present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Raut appreciated the initiative of the book exhibition and said the books displayed in this exhibition are quite progressive in nature and thought provoking. They will be useful for the readers to enrich their knowledge in the present era. He appealed to the book lovers to take benefit of the book sale and exhibition.
Mr. Krishna Khewle, Srinivas Gedam, Adv Bhushan Rahate, Dilip Govardhan, Jalil Pathan, Rushi Daulwar, Ramesh Tekam, Roshan Uke, Jeevan Meshram, Sambhaji Pochkar were also present on the occasion.
The books written by well known writers on the variety of subjects were displayed in the exhibition which evoked very good response from the people of Gadchiroli. Many youths, students and citizens visited the exhibition and purchased the books.
