Gadchiroli Sept. 11 (District Correspondent) senior cooperative leader and Vice President of Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank Arvind Saokar Poreddiwar has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Vishnu Anna Patil Lifetime Achievement Award’ by Maharashtra State Cooperative Banks Association (MSCBA) for his outstanding services in the field of cooperatives.
The award was presented to Mr. Poreddiwar in a grand programme that was organized at Gurudakshina Auditorium of Gokhale Institute, Nashik at the hands of Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Chairman of the New Draft Policy of the Union Ministry of Cooperatives and former Union Minister, the other day.
Mr. Poreddiwar was presented shawl, memento and certificate of honour on the occasion. State Cooperative Commissioner Anil Kavade, Chairman of MSCBA Vishwas Thakur, Vice President Vasant Ghuikhedkar, Chairman of Urban Banks Federation Ajay BramhechaChairperson of Sahkar Bharti Dr. Shashitai Ahire, Chairman of Gadchiroli DCCB Prancheet Poreddiwar were prominently present.
Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharti Pawar could not attend the programme due to the G-20 summit, but they expressed their compliments through a video message and congratulated Arvind S. Poreddiwar.
While replying to the felicitation on this occasion, Mr. Arvind Poreddiwar shared his experiences in the cooperative sector. In remote areas like Gadchiroli, District Co-operative Bank had to overcome many obstacles to reach the pinnacle of success, he told. He expressed his gratitude to everyone saying that all the factors associated with the bank have contributed in this success and honour.
Mr. Arvind Poreddiwar is the senior most leader in the cooperative field of the state. Under his able leadership, the Gadchiroli district Bank has developed and opened its branches throughout the district and has been providing modern banking services to the consumers and the general public.
Taking cognizance of his services and contribution, Mr. Poreddiwar was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award by the State Cooperative Bank.
