Gadchiroli Sept. 4 (District Correspondent) Hot water is coming from the well in village Tatigudam in Aheri taluka for the last over six months which has become a matter of surprise for the people. This village is situated around 47 kilometres from the taluka head quarters of Aheri.

This wonder has taken place in the well situated in the courtyard of one Satyana Katku of the village. Besides the hot water, bubbles and vapour also is seen coming up in the water. Many people of the village took out the water and got it confirmed by touching it.

The water is so hot that one has to mix cold water in it for use. The people from the nearby villages also have been thronging the village Tatigudam to personally see this miracle. They have been fetching the water from the well and testing it to find the reality behind the water.

The source of this hot water could not be known yet and it has become a challenge before the Geological department to find out the source of origin and reason behind this miracle. The hot water has equally become a matter of investigation for the environmentalists and scientists also.

When contacted Tehsildar of Aheri Balaji Somwanshi confirmed the report and said that he was told about this wonderful thing by the Revenue Officer of the area a couple of days before upon which the Geological Survey of India is being contacted to examine the source of hot water.

The owner of the well is a farmer and had constructed this well around seven years back in the courtyard of his residential house. The hot water well is fetching the visitors to his house now.

It should be mentioned here that a small pond is located in the forest near village Venkatapur in Aheri taluka itself from where bubbles come up after clapping throughout the year. Many people visit this place to see the wonder.
