Gadchiroli Aug. 19 (District Correspondent) The natural spots, ancient places in the district will soon have a new look as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the District Administration (District Transformation Committee) and Sobay Tourism LLP (Tribe Tours) for tourism development in the district.
Under this agreement, activities such as night camping, adventure tourism, tribal and eco-tourism, religious and historical tourism, health and educational nature camps will be implemented.
Camping, trekking, nature tours, tribal cultural programs and homestay projects will be implemented at various tourist destinations including Mutnur, Tipagad, Chaprala Sanctuary, Mahadevgad. Through these activities, local youth will get employment as guides, trainers, homestay management and women will get employment through handicrafts and cooking, it is expected.
With the development of the tourist spots in the district, the positive face of Gadchiroli will be brought forward, it is hoped.
