Books distributed to 6,000 students on Dr. Kirsan’s birthday.

Gadchiroli, July 15 (District Correspondent) Various social activities were organized across the Lok Sabha constituency on the birthday of Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Namdev Kirsan. In the main program organized free books were distributed to more than 6,000 students preparing for competitive exams.

In this program, books required for competitive exams were given free of cost to the students. This program was useful for the students from rural areas and those with limited resources. Career guidance was also provided to the students present at this program.

Activities were also organized in various talukas while maintaining social commitment. Notebooks were distributed to students in many schools. Tree plantations were done by giving the message of environmental protection. Also, fruits and food items were distributed to patients in hospitals. All these activities were carried out in coordination with local workers of the Congress party.

The program was attended by Dr. Namdev Kirsan, MLC Abhijit Vanjari, District Congress President Mahendra Brahmanawade, former Z.P. Vice President Manohar Poretti, former municipal chief Suresh Poraddiwar, Shiv Sena District President Vasudev Shedmake, former District President Prakash Itankar, State Congress Secretary Pankaj Guddewar, Youth Congress State Vice President Adv. Vishwajit Kovase, Mahila Congress President Adv. Kavita Moharkar, City Congress President Satish Vidhate.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Kirsan said, “education, competitive exams and career are big dreams for rural students. I am fortunate that I could do something for my students through such activities on the occasion of my birthday to realize this dream.”

The dignitaries present at the program shared inspiring thoughts about competitive exams for the students. The students also expressed happiness about the books they received.
