
Gadchiroli March 11 (District Correspondent) ‘Amhi Amchya Arogyasathi (AAA), a voluntary organization had organized a “Professional Divyang Melava” at Kurkheda the other day.
The program was chaired by Dr. Satish Gogulwar, founder of AAA. Mr. Dhiraj Patil, Block Development Officer, Dr. Sahara, Animal Husbandry Officer, Yashwantrao Patankar, President Vidarbha Divyang Sangha, Dr. Mukesh Shende, Director, Manoj Meshram, Project ManagerAkash Janabandhu, Director of Sangati Farmer Producer Company, Sangita Tumade were prominently present.
The guests guided the 200 professional Divyang persons present at the meet and wished them for business growth.
The organization has been working for the last two decades to bring Divyang Persons into the mainstream of society with rights, entitlements, livelihood and employment through self-employment.
As many as 15 excellent disabled persons who have been doing the businesses of goat farmers, grocery stores, spice shops, panipuri, snack centers, vegetables and seasonal businesses were felicitated on the occasion for their outstanding performance
In the financial year 2024-2025, as many as 200 disabled persons have been trained for small business and goat farming and 180 disabled persons have been provided financial assistance for their business by AAA. The professionally disabled persons who are doing good business in this year and the previous year were brought togetherfor this programme so that business ideas should be exchanged and measures could be taken for business growth.
