Gadchiroli Oct. 23 (District Correspondent) The workers of BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde) and NCP (AP) have demanded that the BJP ticket for Gadchiroli Assembly constituency be given to the two-time MLA Dr. Devrao Holi.
These workers addressed a crowded press conference at the Press Club here this afternoon to raise their demand. More than 100 workers from all the three parties and also the supporters of Dr. Holi attended the press conference insisting and for his candidature.
Mr. Hemant Jambewar, District chief of Shiv Sena said we have already met the senior leaders of BJP and demanded a ticket for Dr. Devrao Holi. A huge rally of the workers of all the three parties has been organized on Oct. 25 next on the grounds of Abhinav Lawns here to extend support to Dr. Holi. It is expected that the leadership will honour our feelings, he said.
Though BJP candidate was lost in the Lok Sabha elections, he has got good number of votes. If the ticket of Armori segment can be given to the sitting MLA where Lok Sabha candidate had received less votes than Gadchiroli, why can’t the same rule be applied to Dr. Holi, Jambewar asked. Dr. Holi will be definitely elected if given the ticket, he said.
Ms. Yogita Pipre, former civic Chief of Gadchiroli and General Secretary of BJP said there is no reason to deny ticket to Dr. Holi because he has done many developmental works in the constituency and has always been cooperative and active in solving the comman people’s issues. We all will work for Dr. Holi
Dr. Tamdeo Dudhbale of NCP also supported the candidature of Dr. Holi saying he is the most popular public representative and has been pro people during his two terms as an MLA. The seniors should consider his name for the Assembly elections for the sure victory of the party.

Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Rakesh Belsare of Shiv Sena, Sanjay Nikhare of NCP, Vaibhav Bhiwapure, Mukteshwar Katwe, Vivek Babanwade, Kishor Bawne, Dilip Chalakh, Sainath Burande, Roshan Masram, Ashish Mistry, Pratibha Chaudhari, Neeta Wadettiwar and many other workers from BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP attended the press conference.
