Sanj Institute donates food to flood affected in Bhamragad.

Gadchiroli Sept. 14 (District Correspondent) Sanj Multi Activity Development Institute, Binagunda, a voluntary social organization located in Bhamragarh distributed food and financial help to the flood affected families of Bhamragarh and gave relief to the families.

Bhamragad had received heavy rains recently that had caused flood situation in the town. As the flood water level of the river flowing adjacent to the town kept rising for three days, many houses collapsed due to being submerged in water, walls of many houses fell down, daily life was disrupted, agriculture was submerged, causing huge damage to agriculture also.

Taking cognizance of this loss and difficulties faced by the flood affected people, the Sanj Institute came forward and donated food items and some financial help to them. Ms. Tarabai Maruti Gongle personally provided financial assistance to the members of the flood affected families. Mr. Ruplal Gongle, founder of the Sanj Institute took the initiative for this generous task.  Sanjay Khandarkar, Shailesh Gawde was present.

The Sanj Institute has been organizing various social activities for the tribals of the remote places in Bhamragad taluka for the last many years.
