Gadchiroli Sept. 2 (District Correspondent) Armori MLA Krishna Gajbe has assured the women that he will always stand by the side of women for their protection and all-round development. ‘This Krishna will be the first to run to punish whoever does injustice and oppression to my beloved sisters’ he said while speaking at the womens rally organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Aghadi at Kurkheda recently.

BJP district president Prashant Waghre, Mahila Morcha district president Geeta Hinge, BJP taluka president Changdev Faye, Minorities district president Bablu Hussaini, Ms. Vidya Gajbe, district president of Scheduled Caste Front Adv. Umesh Walde, OBC front’s Ravindra Gotefode, City President Sagar Nirankari, Councillor Ram Vaidya, Ms. Lata Punghati, Prof. Vinod Nagpurkar were prominently present.

Mr. Gajbe announced on this occasion that meeting halls will be constructed and libraries will be opened for the beloved sisters in every village who are associated with women’s union and self-help groups in Armori Assembly area. He also appealed to underprivileged women to avail the benefit of the govt. schemes.

Mr. Prashant Waghre appealed the women to create an ideal child to prevent incidents like rape, torture and theft. At this time, 40 Congress party women workers from Kurkheda taluka joined the BJP. They were welcomed by Mr. Waghre and Ms. Geeta Hinge.

District Vice President Roshni Pardhi, District General Secretary of Mahila Morcha, Preeti Shudharkar, Archana Dhore, Seema Kannamwar, Jayashree Madavi, Durga Gotefode, Geeta Kumre, Kalpana Mandve, Rupali Kawle, as well as women office bearers and a large number of women were present.

Ms. Rajni Bansod made an introductory speech, Ms. Jayashree Madavi conducted the programme and Rupali Kawle proposed the vote of thanks.
