Gadchiroli Feb. 10 (District Correspondent) The Glam Face of Vidarbha and Bridal Makeup Competition organized by JMM Star Events received a huge response from the fashion lovers here.
Famous Marathi actress and Bigg Boss Marathi fame Smita Gondkar was present as the chief guest at the grand finale of the competition. Ms. Shivani Wadettiwar, General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress, Senior Journalist Rohidas Raut, Businessman Manoj Devkule, Social Workers Chayatai Kumbhare, Dr. Khushbu Durge, Gita Hinge were also present on this occasion.
A total of 130 contestants enthusiastically participated in this competition and presented their artistic skills and got the admiration of the audience. From very small boys and girls to old women, everyone presented their art. The winning contestants were felicitated with mementos by Smita Gondkar.
Well known beautician and social activist Jyoti Undirwade along with entrepreneur Manoj Khobragade and makeup artist Monika Nimbekar jointly organized this Vidarbha level competition. A large number of art lovers and artists of Gadchiroli participated in it and made this program unforgettable and historic.
For the first time in the history of Gadchiroli, such a grand program was organized in presence of celebrity. Smita Gondkar performed an amazing dance on the song ‘Pappy De Pappy De’ and the artistes of the city participated in it adding beauty to the program.

In the modelling competition kids girl category was Tanishka Asopa was the winner, 1st runner-up Sonam Matte, 2nd runner-up Kinjal Dharamshali, while in the kid’s boy’s category, the winner was Shruvit Maind, 1st runner-up Ridan Kose, 2nd runner-up Dariya Kose.
In Miss Category Anushree Nimsarkar was the winner, 1st Runner Up Mona Borkar, 2nd Runner Up Gitika Kharwade. In Mrs. Category Bharti Motghare was the winner, 1st Runner Up Devaki Kankdalwar, 2nd Runner Up Ashlesha Patil. In Mr. Category Sujal Govardhan was the winner, 1st Runner Up Surjit Singh 2nd Runner Up Prajwal Gadekar. Manhunt Category Ganesh Gawhare was the winner, 1st Runner Up Abdul Shaikh, 2nd Runner Up Shubham Gawande.
The winners of the bridal makeup competition were Priya Rajulkar, 1st runner-up Ahija Khan, 2nd runner-up Namrata Patil. Actress Smita Gondkar was overwhelmed by the response of the fans. She praised the organizers and fans. She appreciated the initiative saying that even in a small town like Gadchiroli such a competition can be held in such a good manner.
Adv. Kavita Mohorkar, Ketan Armarkar, Namrata Patil were the judges while M.G. Zeeshan did anchoring of the programme. More such events will be organized in the future too, told Ms. Jyoti Undirwade, chief Organizer of the event.
