Gadchiroli Jan. 13 (District correspondent) As many as 9 candidates have filed their applications for the candidature of the coming Gadchiroli -Chimur Lok Sabha constituency elections.
These candidates include Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Dr. Namdev Kirsan, former MLA and General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Dr. Namdev Usendi, former MLA from Armori Anandrao Gedam, State Secretary of the congress Party Dr. Nitin Kodawate, former ZP member Nandu Narote, Nilenj Marskolhe, State Secretary of Youth Congress Dr. Praneet Jambhule, Narayan Jambhule and Haridas Barekar. All of them have submitted their applications to the party chief through District President of Congress Committee Mahendra Brahmanwade.
As the winds of Lok Sabha General Election 2024 have started to blow, all the political parties are busy in their poll arrangements. The Congress party also has started the screening of candidates as per the directives of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.
As the Congress party called for the applications of the interested candidates for the Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 9 candidates willing to contest the election, have submitted their applications to the District Congress Committee Office here, according to Congress Committee President Mahendra Brahmanwade.
