Gadchiroli Nov. 2 (District Correspondent) A review meeting and induction ceremony of new entrants was organized by Gadchiroli Assembly Youth Congress at the Circuit House here the other day as per the directives of State President of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress Kunal Raut.
National Secretary of All India Youth Congress and in-charge of Vidarbha Zone Kumar Rohit, General Secretary of Maharashtra Youth Congress Yadnyavalakya Jichkar were prominently present. Adv. Vishwajit Kowase, General Secretary of Maharashtra Youth Congress presented the organizational review.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Kumar Rohit called upon the workers to make efforts to strengthen the party organization in the coming time. Youth Congress should implement the ‘Youth Jodo, Booth Jodo Abhiyaan’ and focus on establishing a booth wise committee and strengthen the party by reaching the grassroots of the people. He further said that the youth who works honestly as a Congress worker, will definitely be given an opportunity by the party.
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Dr. Namdev Kirsan and Gadchiroli District Congress Committee President Mahendra Brahmanwade also guided the Youth Congress office bearers.
At the end of the meeting, the executive committee of Youth Congress was expanded and new appointments were declared. Mr. Praful Barsagade was appointed as Chamorshi Taluka Youth Congress President while Premanand Ghongle and Nehal Rakanke were appointed as the Vice Presidents.
Mr. Vishwajeet Kowase said that the youth have got a good opportunity through the Youth Congress and they should seize this opportunity and convey the thoughts of inclusiveness, love and harmony of Rahul Gandhi to the masses. He appealed that Congress should also provide information about the work done by the party in nation building.
Youth Congress Regional Secretary Ashwin Bais, Gadchiroli Legislative Assembly President Mahesh Jillewar, Nilesh Boriwar, Tejas Kodekar, Hemant Kumre, Ashish Gher, Harshal Kirme, Jeevak Dande, Hemant Kumre, Shankar Surjagade, Gaurav Vetkar, Manoj Mandal and a large number of Youth Congress officials attended the meeting.
Youth Congress District General Secretary Nitesh Rathod conducted the program and vote of thanks was given by Premanand Ghongle.
