Gadchiroli Sept. 6 (District Correspondent) With the changing technology, we should also change. We should not just depend on the books in the library but we should also keep our knowledge updated by getting information from the sources of knowledge available through the modern platforms like National digital Library of India (N. D. L.I.), asserted Dr. Rajabhau Munghate, Pincipal of Govindrao Munghate College, Kurkheda while addressing the NDLI User workshop in the college the other day.

This workshop was chaired by Vice Principal Dr. Abhay Salunkhe while Vice Principal P. S. Khope, Resource person Dr. Deepak Bansod, Dr. Bhaskar Tupte, Head of Library Department Dr. Anil Bhoyer were prominently present.

Speaking further, Principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate said that the students of the college can get the knowledge of the world’s largest library through the Indian Club and this club will certainly be useful to the students of remote areas like Kurkheda. Students, researchers and professors in this area should benefit from this knowledge hub, he appealed. NDLI can be accessed anywhere and anytime with one click. By clicking we can get our books and notes, he informed and appealed to take advantage of this digital knowledge rather than traditional knowledge and keep the knowledge updated.

Dr. Deepak Bansode, the chief guide of the said workshop while guiding on the topic gave details of the importance of NDLI. said that N. List. On the occasion, he gave detailed guidance on how to open the N list, what process is required for it, how to read books and notes online, how to save it, how to print it, how to make a PDF file of it etc.

Dr. Bhaskar Tupte gave the details of the functioning of NDLI including, how to register it, how to keep its password, what can we search on NDLI, college N. D. L.I. The club organizes various activities like quizzes, motivational lectures, daily specials. By registering and filling feedback you can get certificate from IIT Kharagpur, Govt of India, it was informed. Many students and professors of the college attended the said workshop.

Dr. Anil Bhoyer, head of the library department made an introductory speech, Dr. Ravindra Vikhar conducted the program and Dr. Nikesh Lokhande proposed the vote of thanks. All the members of the library advisory committee of the college provided valuable support to make the program a success.
