Gadchiroli Aug. 31 (District Correspondent) A woman from village Churchura, around 10 kilometres from here was killed in tiger attack last evening. The name of the woman is given as Parvata Narayan Chaudhari (55).

According to reports, Parvata had gone to the forest near the village for grazing the village cattle along with her husband. A tiger suddenly attacked her and dragged her for some distance in the forest. Her husband cried for help and then rushed to the village to inform the villagers. Until the villagers reached the spot; the woman was already dead.

The deceased woman leaves behind her husband and two sons and was earning her livelihood by grazing the village cattle.

This is the third incident of death due to tiger attack in the village within a period of one year. The villagers are thus quite angry and have demanded early capturing of the man eater.
