Gadchiroli Jan. 5 (District correspondent) The stoppage of Sikandarabad-Darbhanga Superfast Express Railway was launched at the hands of Gadchiroli Chimur Lok Sabha MP Ashok Nete recently at Wadsa-Desaiganj Railway station.
Mr. Nete, along with other guests flagged off the superfast express train before it proceeded for its further journey after the stoppage to mark the launching.
The stoppage of the express train number 17007/08 running between Sikanderabad and Darbhanga was sanctioned by the Union Minister of Railways Ashwin G Vaishnav following the necessary follow up by Mr. Nete.
According to the demand of stoppages of superfast train, from the point of view of public’s railway related problems and convenience of travelers, the Union Minister of Railways has sanctioned this stoppage.
Mr. Nete expressed satisfaction over this stoppage and hoped it would benefit the passengers of the area and would be helpful for the development of the region. He also thanked the railway minister for fulfilling the demand of the passengers.
The driver of the train was welcomed and sweets were distributed among the railway staff and the passengers at the hands of Mr. Nete after the train stopped at the Wadsa Railway Station
District President of BJPO Kisan Nagdevate, Raju Jethani, Former chairman Nanabhau Nakade, senior BJP leader Jamsingh Yerne, Divisional Manager of DRM South East Central Railway Maninder G Uppal, Assistant Manager Nagpur Avinash Kumar Anand, Assistant Manager S.N. Namdev, District President of BJP OBC Morcha Sunil Pardhi, Retired Judge Gyandev Parashuramkar, Laxman Raman, Santosh Samdasan, Rajkumar Tiwari and passengers were present in large numbers on the occasion.
