Gadchiroli March 25 (District Correspondent) A public hearing on the environment of Surjagad Ispat Private Limited Company to be set up at Vadlapeth in Aheri taluka was held at Niyojan Bhavan here this afternoon under the chairmanship of District Collector Avishant Panda.
In this meeting, the citizens of Vadlapeth and the surrounding areas participated and supported the setting up of Surjagad Ispat Company. However, the citizens also advised the company to pay special attention towards their issues like roads, health, education and other infrastructure. Iron-based companies are being established in Gadchiroli district, which is known as a tribal-dominated, industry-free district.
The meeting was attended by MLA of Aheri assembly constituency Dharmarao Baba Atram, former MLA Devrao Holi, former MLA Deepak Atram, former Zilla Parishad President Ajay Kankdalwar, NCP District President Ravindra Wasekar, Women NCP District President Dr. Sonal Kove, BJP leader Ravi Ollalwar, Bablu Hakim, Hanumant Madavi, Dr. Charanjit Singh Saluja, Tanushree Atram, Harshvardhan Baba Atram, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Khamancharu Saylu Madavi.
The Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Deputy Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat office bearers, Police Patil and local citizens participated in this public hearing. Their important opinions were presented, in which it was said that the company should pay special attention to social initiatives.
Through the public hearing, various issues like employment, good education, good health etc. were discussed and Surjagad Ispat Company was made aware of solving those problems. The Company agreed to fulfil all the requirements raised by the citizens present in the public hearing.
