Gadchiroli Oct. 19 (District Correspondent) Expressing gratitude towards the martyred soldiers, a Diwali sweets distribution program was organized for the family members of the martyred jawans by the Gadchiroli Police Force in the presence of Additional Director General of Police (Special Actions) Dr. Tshering Dorje and other senior officers.
Dr. Tshering Dorje interacted with the families of the martyred jawans and extended Diwali greetings. All the jawans of the Gadchiroli Police Force are fighting Maoism with great courage. It is because of the sacrifices of these jawans who were martyred in this battle that Gadchiroli district is on the path to freedom from Maoism today. The families of all the martyred jawans are like our family and Maharashtra Police and Gadchiroli Police Force are always standing firmly by their side, he promised.
DIG of Gadchiroli Range Ankit Goyal, Superintendent of Police Nilotpal along with all senior officers met all the families of the martyred jawans present and wished them a happy Diwali. They also presented Diwali sweets and enquired about their problems.
Additional SP (Campaigns) M Ramesh, Additional SP (Administration) Gokul Raj G. were also present for the said program.
