Gadchiroli Aug. 23 (District Correspondent)A program of felicitation of the meritorious students of Mali community and career guidance was organized recently by Mali Samaj Sangathana at Press Club here.
The programme was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Purushottam Nikode, District Advisor of Mali Samaj Sangathana. Mr. Phulchand Gurnule, President of the Sangathana presided over the programme. Mr. Rahul Gaddai, Software Engineer from Nagpur, Rupesh Mohurle, Manager, Bank of India, Dr. Sarang Kotarange of the District Hospital, Abhijit Mohurle, Director of AIM, were the chief guests.
The students who secured 80% marks in 10th and 75% marks in 12th standards and other meritorious students were felicitated at the programme by presenting them certificates, mementos and bouquets at the hands of the guests.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Nikode called upon the students to take higher education and utilize their knowledge for the service of the society. Mr. gurnule in his presidential speech asked the students to prepare for their studies with utmost dedication and achieve the targeted success.
The students were also guided by the speakers on various important topics related to higher education and career development.
Mr. Ramesh Jengthe made an introductory speech, Kisan Sonule conducted the programme and Umesh Jengthe proposed the vote of thanks. A large number of students, their parents and community members attended the programme.
