Massive medical camp organized by Llyods Metals Company at village Hedri.

Gadchiroli Sept. 5 (District Correspondent) A medical camp was organized by Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd., a company engaged in iron ore mines in Surjagad had organized a huge medical camp recently at the remote village of Hedri in Etapalli taluka.

More than 2,000 villagers from 50 villages in the vicinity participated in the camp who were checked by the team of 11 expert doctors and necessary medicines were given to them free of cost. Some patients with serious ailments were referred to the hospitals for the further treatment.

The camp was inaugurated at the hands of Shubham Gupta, SDO, Aheri. Mr. Omkar Otari, Tehsildar, Mr. Sukade, Incharge of Hedri Police Center, Ms. Aruna Sadmake, Sarpancha, Rakesh Kawdo, Dy. Sarpancha, Mr. Sai Kumar, Mr. Shetti, Jivan Hedau, senior officers of the company were prominently present.

In this camp as many as 100 Orthopaedic patients, Skin disease 70, Gynaecological disorders 150, Paediatric patients 100, Surgery 70, ENT 100, Medicine 150 and 342 general patients were examined by the concerned doctors.

Similarly, Eye check-up of 120 patients was done, Spectacles were given to 65 patients, Covid vaccination was given to 54 persons, ECG of 8 patients was done, Malaria test was conducted on 22 patients, Dengue test was conducted on 06, Vidal test for Typhoid on 14 and Random blood sugar of 21 was done in the camp.

The lodging and boarding arrangement of the patients and their relatives was done by the company itself.

Swati Reddy, (Pediatrician), Kakatiya Medical College Hyderabad, Dr. Ramchandra Bose Naik, (Surgery), MNR Medical College, Hyderabad, Dr.Rama Krishna Ganapatiwar, (Medicine) ,Yasodha Hospital, Hyderabad, Dr.P Nagaraju, (ENT), Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, Dr.Apratim Dixit,Orthopaedician, Chandrapur Dr. Pranay Gandhi, Dermatologist, Chandrapur, Dr. Ananta Jadhav, Gynaecologist, Aheri Sub District Hospital, Dr.Gaytari Maratkar, Medical officer, Rural Hospital, Etapalli,  Dr. Jasmina Temburne, Medical Officer, Etapalli, Dr.Ravindra Watore, Medical Officer, Aheri Sub District Hospital and Mr. Vivek, Optometrist examined the patients in this camp.
