Lloyds run Kali Ammal Hospital holds health camp- 3,000 patients examined.

Gadchiroli Jan. 22 (District Correspondent) A grand two day’s health check-up camp was organized by Lloyd’s Kali Ammal Memorial Hospital at a remote tribal village Aldandi in Etapalli taluka recently. This camp was a part of Lloyd’s Metals and Energy Ltd.  Company Director B. Prabhakaran’s concept of organizing such health camps in remote areas to benefit the villagers.

In this camp, eye examination, reading glasses, skin disease examination, medical advice, blood pressure examination, expert advice for bone disorders, ear, nose and throat examination, guidance for early diagnosis of problems, health care for children, special examination for women’s health, examination and advice regarding expert help on diseases, other tests, ECO tests etc were conducted by the expert doctors.

Around 3,000 people were examined in this camp and were given necessary medicines free of cost by the hospital and the Lloyds Metals Company. The patients were also provided meals during the camp.

Mr. Bhaskar, Sai Kumar, Arun Rawat, Vikram Mehta, Ms. Sunita Mehta, Bolubhau Somnani, Sanjay Changlani, Ms. Vanita Korami, Sarpanch Todsa, Mahesh Mattami, Chaitanya Kadam, Sub-Divisional Officer Etapalli, Mr. Kumbhare PSI of Aldandi, Dr. Roy, Dr. R. S.Farooqui, Surgeon from Nagpur, Janardan Nallawar, former Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Etapalli were present at the inauguration of the camp.

The citizens of the area have thanked Mr. B Prabhakaran, Director of Lloyds Metal Company, for organizing this health camp.
