Gadchiroli Feb. 1 (District Correspondent) Lloyds Kali Ammal Memorial (LKAM) Hospital at village Hedri celebrated the birth of the first baby in the hospital on 29th January, 2024. Mr. Ajay Rajesh Minj and Smt. Bali Minj, the overjoyed parents of the baby boy, are from Bodmetta village.
Mr. B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director of the Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd. which has started an iron project at Surjagad, visited the hospital and congratulated the family.
LKAM Hospital established by Lloyds Infinite Foundation under its CSR program in Hedri village was inaugurated on 8th December, 2024. The region woefully lacks medical facilities. The hospital has become quite useful for the tribals of the area.
The 30 bedded multi-specialty LKAM hospital caters to the medical needs of the villagers in and around Hedri. The hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment to handle routine as well as emergency cases, is run by a dedicated team of specialist doctors and visiting consultants.
