Gadchiroli Nov. 9 (District Correspondent) Mr. Arvind Khobragade, senior journalist of the city passed this afternoon during the treatment at a private hospital in Nagpur. He was 52.
Residents of Jashinagar in the city and was a District Correspondent of Marathi a newspaper, Navrastra, was keeping ill for the last few months and was undergoing medical treatment in a private hospital at Nagpur.
Arvind Khobragade, who came from a very poor background, made his mark in the newspaper field by his writing and good nature. He started journalism from Aheri and entered the newspaper field. Through his excellent writing, within a short period of time, he had risen to the position of district correspondent.
Meanwhile, he was suffering from a chronic illness for the past few months. Therefore, he was treated in a private hospital in Nagpur. But as his condition worsened, he died today afternoon during the treatment.
His mortal remains have been brought to his residence in Gadchiroli and the last rites will be performed tomorrow, Friday 10th November at a crematorium near Kathani river in Gadchiroli.
