Gadchiroli May 20 (District Correspondent) Shiv Sena (Shinde) district unit has expressed utter displeasure over non-inclusion of any of its workers on the recently constituted District Planning Council (DPC) and has demanded early cancellation of the new body and reconstitute it.
Addressing a press conference at the Press club here this afternoon, Mr. Hemant Jambewar, District Joint contact Chief of Shiv Sena told that in the recently constituted District Planning Council of Gadchiroli not a single worker of shiv Sena has been appointed. All the members of the BJP have been appointed on this body ignoring the Shiv Sena workers which is totally unacceptable and condemnable, said Mr. Jambewar.
It is a very serious matter that the members of Shiv Sena have not been appointed on the DPC even after the fact that there is an alliance of the two parties -BJP and shiv Sena in Maharashtra, said Jambewar.
A formula of 60-40 has been formulated in the state for power sharing but that is not being followed. Even in the Gondwana University senate nominations, not a single name of Shiv Sena (Shinde) was nominated even though two names were recommended by the party, he pointed out.
Though our party is new, we have shown good performance in in village panchayat elections. Not only this, all our candidates fielded in the recently held APMC elections were also elected. Even after this, if BJP is not recognising our strength, we will show it in the next elections, Jambewar warned. He also warned to launch intensive agitation against this injustice.
Also present at the press conference were Ms. Amita Madavi, Avinash Wargantiwar, Vasantrao Gawture, Deepak Bharsagade, Dilip Gowardhan, Changdas Masram, Nilkanth Yerme and others.
