Gadchiroli March 17 (District Correspondent) Well known social worker and President of Adharvishwa Foundation Ms. Geeta hinge has been honoured with ‘Women’s Achievers Icon of Vidarbha’ award.
The award was presented to Ms. Geeta recently at Brahmakumari Vishwashanti Sarovar, Jamtha, Nagpur in a grand ceremony. It was a very grand and divine ceremony. Thousands of women and men attended the ceremony in the grand hall of Brahmakumari Vishwa Shanti Sarovar.
Rajyogini Brahmakumari Chakradhari Didi from Russia, Dr. Savita Didi, Rajni Didi, Manisha Didi, State Congress President Nanabhau Patole, Director of Singhania Dry Fruit and 24 Star Pride Club Kavita Singhania, Zilla Parishad Vice President Kunda Raut, film actress Elakirthi, Junior Amitabh and other dignitaries were the guests of this programme.
Nominations were received from the 11 districts of Vidarbha for this award. After examining them, a total of 12 women working in various fields were given this award. Dr Richa Jain, the organizer of the event said that it is a matter of pride that a woman working in a tribal area like Gadchiroli has received the award. The social sector award went outside Nagpur for the first time, she said while congratulating Geeta.
Ms. Geeta Hinge has received many awards before also for the outstanding work done by her. The Aadhar Vishwa Foundation Vice President Vina Jambewar, Secretary Sunita Salve, Member Vijaya Mane were also present on this occasion. Ms. Geeta hinge is being congratulated from all walks of life as she has received this Vidarbha level prestigious award.
