Gadchiroli June 8 (District correspondent) Three workers of Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti from the district of Gadchiroli were honoured at the state level meet of the Samiti held at Kolhapur recently for their outstanding performance.
These workers are Mr. Shabbir Sheikh, President of Gadchiroli city unit, Chopram Kamble from Ghot in Chamorshi taluka and Dadaji Borkar from Purada in Kurkheda taluka.
All the three workers were felicitated by presenting them mementos and certificates of honour at the hands of Mr. A. H. Salunkhe, senior thinker and social worker. Mr. Avinash Patil, state President of MANS, Annasaheb Pawar, Vice President, Madhav Bawge, Working President, Sanjay Bansode Principal Secretary and Dr. Nitin Shinde.
Mr. Vilas Nimborkar, state member and Vitthalrao Kothare, District Working President accepted the certificates on behalf of the workers as they could not attend the programme.
The three workers had done a commendable job of getting the subscription of Samiti magazine and thereby collecting funds. The office bearers and workers of MANS have congratulated these workers on their honour.
