Gadchiroli Jan. 15 (District Correspondent) ‘Raktafulche Tatve’, a collection of poems composed by well -known poet and gazal composer Prof. Dr. Nomesh Meshram has been announced the prestigious state level Savitribai Phule Sahitya Bhushan Award -2023 by Akhil Bhatiya Marathi Sahitya Mandal.
The examiners of the Sahitya Mandal selected this book from amongst the 465 books it had received. Rajhans Prakashan, a well-known publishing house from Pune has published this book.
On behalf of the famous Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Mandal Thane, this award is given every year to the best collection of poems in the state. The Mandal has informed the selection to Dr. Nomesh Narayan Meshram recently. He will be presented with this award at the All-India Marathi Literary Association’s Literary Conference on Sunday, February 25 next.
Dr. Nomesh Meshram is the Head of Department of English at Mahatma Gandhi College, Armori. This is the fifth consecutive state level literature award given to Dr. Meshram for his collection of poems ‘Raktfulanche Tatve’. Baburao Petkar poetry award from Shegaon, the state level best poetry collection award from Sahitya Vihar Sanstha, Nagpur, the Tapi Poorna state level literature award from Ujjainkar Foundation, Muktainagar, Jalgaon, the Devkai state level poetry award from Arvi are the other awards which he received earlier.
