Gadchiroli July 26 (District correspondent) Dr. Hemant Barsagade, Dy. Registrar of the Gondwana university has been honoured with Academic Excellence Award by Research Education Solutions, Delhi and N.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology NMIET B-School, Bhubaneswar recently.
An international conference on the subject ‘Convergence of Technology with Engineering, Management, Social Science and Agriculture for Better Productivity and Sustainability’ was organized recently in which Dr. Barsagade was given this award. The representatives from many countries had participated in this conference.
The award consisting a memento and certificate was presented to Dr. Barsagade in presence of Prof. Vishal Singh of “The King Michael University of Life Science” in Romania Verma, and Mr. Mega Mittal, Managing Director of “Research Education Solutions” Delhi, “Prof. Santosh Kumar Das, Director of NMIT B Bhubaneswar.
So far, a total of 12 research papers and journals of Barsagade have been published at national and international level. He was also given Gondwana University Class 1 Outstanding Officer award for the year 2014-15. He previously served in Gondwana University’s Board of Examinations and Evaluation, Finance and Accounts and is currently on the post of Dy. Registrar in the Academic Departments of the University.
He has completed his research on this subject “Study of Social and Economic Status of Agnanwadi Workers in Gadchiroli District” and obtained PhD. He has also has passed MBA in Finance.
Dr. Barsagade has attributed this success to the memory of his father late Mr. Keshavrao Barsagade, mother and friends.
