Gadchiroli April 30 (District Correspondent) Senior social worker and Associate Professor of Phule-Ambedkar College of Social Work Prof. Dr. Dilip Barsagde has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Sanjha’ Fellowship by Delhi based well known charitable organization Gunj for his outstanding social work.
The one-year fellowship is awarded to the social workers who are engaged in innovative activities and social work. The fellowship was presented to Dr. Barsagade in a fellowship convocation programme held at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, Mumbai recently at the hands of Mr. Anshu Gupta, President of the Gunj Sanstha and the winner of Magsaysay Award.
On this occasion Ms. Rashmi Sinha, Coordinator of Sanjha Fellowship, Anjana Jain, Co-Coordinator, Anita Yadao, Navinkumar Yadav, Vineet Kumar, Himanshu Kulkarni of Gunj Sanstha, New Delhi were mainly present.
Dr. Barsagade had taken up various innovative activities like sustainable resource generation in rural and tribal communities through shramadana, menstrual cycle management and livelihood through the fellowship throughout the year.
Officers and workers of charitable organizations of various states were present along with fellows in this programme.
