Gadchiroli June 27 (District Correspondent) Maharashtra Andhasraddha Nirmulan Samiti Branch Gadchiroli had organized a one-day workshop for its workers at Parishram Bhvan here the other day.
The programme was presided over by Mr. Devaji Sontakke, Senior Advisor of Maha Anis, while social worker Mr. Pandit Pudke, State Co-ordinator Vilas Nimbokar, District Vice President, Chopram Kamble, Chandrapur District Working President Pundalik Jadhav, Gadchiroli District Working President Vitthalrao Kothare, Gadchiroli City President Shabbir Shaikh were prominently present.
President of the second session, Mr. Pandit Pudke, as the chief guide, Mr. Gajendra Surkar, State Principal Secretary of Maha Annis, District Information Officer Mr. Sanjay Adsul, State Collaborator Mr. Vilas Nimbokar, Mr. Pundlik Jadhav, Vitthalrao Kothare etc. were present
The workers who did remarkable work were felicitated at the hands of the dignitaries by giving them shawls, shields and certificates. The workshop was held in two sessions. In the first session, Mr. Vitthalrao Kothare guided on organization building, document collection, Upendra Rohankar gave information about various activities, Pravin Tekam commented on youth participation, Prashant Naitam informed and showed the miracles.
Mr. Vilas Nimborkar gave detailed information about the Scientific Awareness Education Project and the measures to be taken by the activists to maintain their mental health and reduce the mental stress of others. Ms. Anjum Shaikh gave various examples on the subject of women’s participation and gave detailed information on how even today women are victims of superstitions.
Mr. Purushottam Thackeray gave guidance on how to eradicate superstition by presenting movement songs, arena plays, street plays and one-act plays. Mr. Sontakke in his presidential speech called upon the workers to strengthen the organization and carry on the work of removing superstition.
Mr. Pandit Pudke presided over the second session while State Principal Secretary of Maha Anis Gajendra Surkar, District Information Officer Sanjay Adsul, State Collaborator Vilas Nimborkar were the chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Adsul praised the activists of ANIS for the work of eliminating superstitions that is going on in Gadchiroli district and said that considering the incidents of superstitions in the rural areas of the district, the activists still have more scope to do a lot of work. Mr. Surkar gave detailed information of the various activities being taken up by Anis and appealed the workers to keep the work in the same spirit.
Mr. Vilas Nimborkar made an introductory speech and gave the details of the Gadchiroli district activities.Haridas Kotarange, Manohar Godselwar, Purushottam Chaudhary, Purushottam Thackeray, Uddhav Bangre, Sunil Nannaware, Mahananda Vilas Nimborkar, Upendra Rohankar, Vitthalrao Kothare, Vilas Parkhi, Vamanrao Bhoyer worked tirelessly for the success of the program.
