District Collector Sanjay Meena asks bankers not to keep loan cases pending.

Gadchiroli Sept. 7 (District Correspondent) District Collector Sanjay Meena has instructed the officials not to keep the loan cases pending. He gave these instructions in the district level bankers meeting held at the collectorate here the other day.

Farmers of Gadchiroli district are dependent on paddy farming and agriculture related activities hence their loan cases should not be kept pending, Collector Meena stated. He also gave instructions about crop loan, agriculture loan, Kisan Credit Card distribution, Chief Minister’s employment generation loan, fisheries business loan and all such schemes.

At this time, he also gave instructions to provide loans to the eligible account holders by considering the proposals received. In order to provide loans to the needy in time, a loan distribution meeting under government schemes will be organized in a grand manner at the district level on September 21 in the vicinity of Gondwana University, it was informed. All the bank offices of the district will be present at this meeting.

Citizens are requested to submit detailed proposals and documents along with the loan demand of the scheme at that meeting. All pending and new applications will be considered at this meeting.

Kisan Credit Card will be distributed to every farmer in the district in one month. Mr. Meena also instructed the bank heads in the meeting to carry out a special campaign regarding the distribution of Kisan Credit Cards. District Bank has the largest number of account holders in the district. But other nationalized banks are also required to issue Kisan Credit Cards to their account holders. By the end of the next month, account holders will be determined and Kisan credit cards will be issued to them, it was further informed in the meeting.
