Gadchiroli May 16 (District Correspondent) District Collector Sanjay Daine has directed the officers and employees to strictly carry out the counting process of Lok Sabha voting successfully. He was addressing a review meeting of vote counting preparations and training of officers at the Collector’s office.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Ayushi Singh, Additional Collector Vijay Bhakre, Additional Superintendent of Police Kumar Chinta, Dy. District Election Officer Vijay Ghodke, Resident Deputy Collector Sunil Suryavanshi, District Supply Officer Prakash Patil and all Assistant Election Officers were mainly present in the meeting.
The voting process of Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha Constituency, was completed on 19th April and the counting of votes will be held on 4th June. In accordance with this,
The Collector instructed the officials appointed for the counting of votes to get detailed information about the action to be taken according to the responsibility and to pre-verify the necessary materials. He took a detailed review of the Security System, Postal Ballot Counting Team, Manpower Management Team, Material Management Team, Election Machine Sealing Team, Vote Counting Coordination and Report Compilation Team and gave necessary instructions to them.
Similarly, the concerned nodal officers were instructed to carry out their responsibilities properly by taking information about police arrangements, health facilities, sanitation, internet facilities, media room at the polling place. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, use of mobile phones in the counting centre is prohibited.
Assistant Election Officer gave training through presentation. Mr. Rahul Meena gave details of legal matters and general instructions, Kishore Ghadge spoke on counting of votes through voting machine, Aditya Jeevane on VVPAT counting, Kavita Gaekwad on recounting, Smt. Mansi on the announcement of result and presentation of report, Mr. Sandeep Bhaske guided on the issue of sealing of voting machine.
