
Gadchiroli June 12 (District Correspondent) Mr. Mahendra Bramhanwade has strongly demanded immediate change of the Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli district alleging that he is negligent towards the problems of the people here.
Addressing a press conference at the Press club here this afternoon, Bramhanwade came down heavily on the District Incharge Minister Devendra Fadnavis alleging that he has failed to solve the problems of the district. Mr. Fadnavis himself should give up the guardianship of the district because he can’t spare time for this district, DCC chief demanded.
Mr. Bramhanwade alleged that the elected public representatives have totally failed in solving the burning issues of the people. To attract their attention towards the public demands Congress workers will stage agitation in front of their houses soon, he warned.
Due to Lloyd Metals Company’s transportation, people in Ashti-Allapalli areas have been suffering a lot. Many accidents have taken place, people have started developing diseases due to growing dust but the administration is doing nothing to solve these problems, alleged Bramhanwade and demanded early action on the issue.
A strong delegation of the party workers today met the Incharge district Collector Dhanjai Patil at the collectorate here under the leadership of DCC chief Mahendra bramhanwade and MPCC General Secretary Dr. Namdeo Kirsan and submitted him a memorandum in this regard.
Mr. Patil discussed the issues with the delegation in the meeting hall of the collectorate and assured the leaders to look into the matter.
The main issues raised by the congress Party are-the limit of maize and paddy purchasing be increased and the farmers who could not do online registration be allowed to sale their produces, it should be ensured that there is no shortage of seeds and fertilizers during the kharif season, amount of third phase of crop loan be given to the farmers, the roads connecting the district head quarters be connected soon so that the people do not face any difficulty during the monsoon.
The memorandum also demanded that load shedding in Chamorshi taluka be stopped, arrangement of government sand distribution be made soon so that construction works could be carries on, the underground drainage scheme of Gadchiroli city on which Rs. 100 crores were spent be started soon, new house tax levied by Gadchiroli municipal council be reduced, street lights be installed on Chamorshi Road dividers to avoid accidents, work of Kalamgaon Lift Irrigation be started soon, MIDC be started at Wadsa, the bills of MGNREGS works pending since 2017 be cleared soon.
Later on addressing a press conference at the Press Club Bramhanwade warned that district Congress committee will launch an intensive agitation if the long pending demands of the public interest raised by it before the state government are not fulfilled by June 30 next.
Also present at the press conference were Dr. Nitin Kodwate, Satish vidhate, Wamanrao Sawsakde, Rajnikant motghare, Bharat Yerme, Sunil Chadgulwar, Dr. Nisar Hakim, Madhukar Sadmek and many other Congress workers.
