Gadchiroli April 6 (District Correspondent) A blood donation camp was organized by Sanj Multi Activity Development Institute, Binagunda, in Bhamragad taluka, a voluntary organization recently at Rural Hospital of Bhamragad.
A total of 34 male and female blood donors registered in the blood donation camp. Out of them, 27 blood donors donated blood. For blood collection, the medical staff of the Blood Bank of the Sub-District Hospital, Aheri including BTO Dr. Madavi, Blood Bank Technician Nikhil Kumar Kondaparti, Superintendent Savitri Madavi, Harshada Zade, Meghraj Sheikh were present. The medical staff collected 27 blood bags and the blood bags were deposited at the Government Blood Bank Sub-District Hospital Aheri.
Blood donation certificates were distributed to the donors at the hands of Ms. Tarabai Maroti Gongale, the leader of the blood donation camp. On this occasion D.V.Domb, Police Inspector of Bhamragad, Dr.Dhakate, Taluka Medical Officer, Dr. Gayatri, Nazma Mirza Baig as well as the distinguished citizens and members of Visakha Mandal of Bhamragad were present.
In the remote Bhamragad taluka, Sanj Multi Activity Organization has been organizing blood donation camps every four months and blood bags are being deposited at the Government Blood Bank of the sub district Hospital of Aheri for the last many years. This initiative has become quite helpful to provide blood to the needy patients in the area at the time of need.
Mr. Ruplal Maroti Gongale, the president of the organization thanked the blood donors, hospital staff and the attendees. This social work of the organization is being appreciated at all levels. Vaibhav Meshram, the staff of Rural Hospital, Bhamragad and Sanj Madia organization worked hard for the success of the program.
