B. M. Sahare Guruji remembered on death anniversary.

Gadchiroli Aug. 27 (District Correspondent) The death anniversary of B. M. Sahare Guruji, well known social worker and founder of Rahul Lok vikas Mandal was observed at Chamorshi the other day.

Ms. Sujata Ramteke, Principal of B. M. Sahare Primary School presided over the programme while Mr. Rahul Meshram, Venudhar Parchake, Ms. Asha Khandare, M. G. Padwal, Chitrarekha Kheole were prominently present.

At the outset portrait of Sahare Guruji was garlanded at the hands of Ms. Ramteke and two minutes silence was observed in his memory.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Ramteke said late Sahare Guruji was a social worker and ideal teacher in real sense who always helped the needy and poor. He took initiative in setting up a new locality of the nomadic people in Lal Dongri on the outskirts of Chamorshi town which has now become the place of residence for hundreds of families. This is the live example of his affection and care towards the poor and neglected people. By opening schools and hostels, he provided the facility of education to the marginalised people of the backward area, Ms. Ramteke pointed out.

The other teachers also expressed their views on the life and work of Sahare Guruji and paid their tributes to the departed leader. Mr. Pradeep Sorte conducted the programme and Mr. Dattu Dahelkar proposed the vote of thanks.

A large number of students, parents and teachers attended the programme.
