Avinash Bhandekar gets ‘Best Journalist’ award.

Gadchiroli Jan. 6 (District Correspondent) Mr. Avinash Bhandekar, district Correspondent of Marathi Daily Punya Nagri has been selected for the state level best journalist award by Mantralaya and Legislature Reporters Union, Mumbai.

Various awards given on behalf of the Union were announced today by its President Mandar Parkar and Secretary Pramod Doiphode. Mr. Bhandekar’s name was declared for the state level best journalism award.

The journalists who have performed outstandingly in the field of journalism at the state level are felicitated with various awards on behalf of the Mantralaya and Legislature Reporters Union for the year 2022 on the occasion of Marathi Journalist Day.

Mr.  Avinash Bhandekar has been working as the District Representative of Punyanagari and State Vice President of Marathi Patrakar Parishad. Mr.  Bhandekar has published various social and political news along with investigative journalism in his 31 years of journalism. Considering his work, he has been selected for this prestigious award.

Mr. Kiran Naik, Aniket Joshi were the members of the award selection committee and Milind Limaye was the member secretary. The award will be distributed at the hands of the Chief Minister in Mumbai shortly.

The members of Gadchiroli Press Club, friends and well wishers of Bhandekar have congratulated him on this achievement.
