Gadchiroli Dec. 27 (District Correspondent) The incidents of tiger attacks in the district are still continuing with one more woman having been killed in a tiger attack today.
The name of the deceased woman is given as Mangala Kohpare (52), a resident of village Ambetola, around 12 kilometres from the district headquarters of Gadchiroli. The woman had received injuries on her neck. Her husband and son, who too were accompanying her in the field were however escaped.
The tiger had attacked this woman on Monday afternoon when she was working in her field. She was rushed to the district hospital but she breathed her last late last night while undergoing treatment.
Quite a resentment has prevailed among the people of the area as the incidents of tiger attack have been growing day by day and they have been demanding early caging of the man eater.
About a fortnight ago, a young married woman from village Ambeshioni, just near Ambetola was killed in the similar tiger attack while undergoing a treatment at Nagpur hospital
