Gadchiroli: On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, which is a symbol of love between brother and sister, BJP Mahila Aghadi celebrated Rakshabandhan at Matoshree Vriddhashram under the leadership of Mahila Aghadi District President Geetatai Hinge.
The festival was celebrated by distributing biscuits, fruits and sweets to the elderly persons living in Vriddhashrama and spending time with them.
No happiness in this world is more important than the happiness of parents, no matter if they are anyone other’s, said Ms. hinge while speaking on the occasion. She asserted that if we could bring smile on the faces of the people, though for a while, we have achieved a lot. That is exactly what our people want to be around on festive days, and that is what we are trying to be, she added.
Ms. Geetatai Hinge concluded the program by wishing everyone a very happy Rakshabandhan and Narli Purnima, which strengthen the bond of sister-brother.
On this occasion BJP District Secretary Varshatai Shedmake, District General Secretary Seema Kannamwar, Pratima Sonwane, Komal Barsagade, Bharti Khobragade, Vaishnavi Dongre, Bhumi Kondawar and a large number of officials and activists of Mahila Aghadi were present.
