Gadchiroli July 26 (District Correspondent) As many as 2 lakh 659 women have submitted their applications from Gadchiroli district so far for the ambitious scheme of the state government called ‘Ladki Bahin’.
For this scheme, 1,79,731 applications have been received from rural areas and 20,928 applications from urban areas. Taluka wise number of application registration is as follows. Aheri-10703, Armori-11312, Bhamragarh-6605, Charmoshi-38004, Desaiganj-12936, Dhanora-22786, Etapalli-16372, Gadchiroli-29242, Korchi-9742, Kurkheda-16313, Mulchera-12411, Sironcha-14233.
District Collector Sanjay Daine has appealed to maximum number of women in the district to submit their applications for this scheme.
