Gadchiroli July 20 (District Correspondent) A new building and dining hall of Zilla Parishad Primary School Konsari in Chamorshi taluka was inaugurated recently at the hands of Mr. B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director of Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd.
The school has 1st to 4th standard classes and more than 140 students have been studying there. The construction of the building and dining room has been done through Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited Company and the company has handed over the said building to Konsari residents. It provided 2 classrooms, library, computer room, office room and 10 toilets for the teachers and students.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Prabhakaran said the Lloyds Metals Company is committed to help the local people for their progress and development of the district. The new building will be useful for the students in pursuing their education in good atmosphere, he added. Mr. Prabhakaran extended his best wishes to the villagers and the students.
On this occasion Mr. Vivek Nakade, Deputy Education Officer, Srikant Pavde, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Konsari, Ratanrao Akkewar, Dy. Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Konsari, Mr. SVN, Executive Director, LMEL, Colonel Mahapatra, Vice President of Corporate service, Bholu Somnani, Chairman of School Management Committee and all members, students and more than 500 Konsari villagers were present.
