Gadchiroli April 9 (District Correspondent) By showing false dreams to the citizens of the country, BJP captured power through the politics of deception. In the last 10 years, the BJP has made the entire country into a debt market by safeguarding the interests of the traders and corporates manipulating the Indian economy. Farmers in the country are on the hunt for land and there has been a huge increase in women abuse, unemployment and crime. BJP’s job is to spread chaos in the country through the politics of bigotry and disorient the youth and citizens, alleged Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar while addressing a public meeting in support of Congress -INDIA alliance candidate from Gadchiroli Chimur lok Sabha at Mulchera on Monday afternoon.
Modi has a guarantee but Congress has given a warranty of justice, he said adding that the congress is committed to fulfil the guarantees promised by it in its manifesto. Congress will give guarantee prices to farm produce, employment to youth, right of tribals to their land, Wadettiwar said.
Wadettiwar asserted that India Aghadi-led Mahavikas Aghadi is the only option to oust the government that has looted the country. The candidates of Mahavikas Aghadi and component parties will win with a huge margin in the Lok Sabha elections.
Gadchiroli Chimur Lok Sabha candidate Dr. Namdev Keersan Congress district president Mahendra Brahmanwade, former Zilla Parishad president Ajay Kankadyalwar, Sharad Pawar NCP’s Atul Ganyar Pawar and all office-bearers of Mahavikas Aghadi and component parties were mainly present.
Speaking further on this occasion Wadettiwar said that Congress has given equal treatment to every community whether it is tribal community or Bengali community in the area. The task of giving forest rights to the tribal community was done only during the Congress period. If Surjagad in this area got three hundred hectares of land, why not Chenna project, he asked and assured to clear the land required for much long pending Chenna Project.
Sitting BJP MP has not done anything concrete for the development of the area for the past ten years and the situation of roads has become worst, he pointed out.
Dr. Namdeo Kirsan promised to keep regular contact with the electorates and the people and will raise their voice in the parliament as he is well aware of the ground situation. Mr. Atul Ganyarpawar, Rabin Shah also addressed the meeting which was largely attended.
