Gadchiroli July 30 (District Correspondent) Mr. Sujoy Lal Thausen, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) visited 192 Battalion here today and inspected the functioning of the battalion.
At the outset, Mr. Thausen was accorded guard of honour by the jawans of the battalion. The DG then inspected the mess, line, recreation room etc. During this tour, the officer interacted with the staff of the mess and inspected their work.
Mr. Thausen talked to the officers of the 192 battalion and appreciated the work being done by them against the Naxalites despite the odd conditions in the district.
In addition to this, the Director General also visited P.I. training node, M.I.D.C. and also discussed Naxal activities and deployment of the CRPF in south Gadchiroli and Chhattisgarh state so that the problem of naxalism could be eliminated.

Ranpise, Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Western Sector, Ajay Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector General, CRPF, Jagdish Narayan Meena, Deputy Inspector General, CRPF, Gadchiroli Range, Mr. Dev Raj, Commandant, 192 Battalion, CRPF, Narendra Kumar, second in command, 192 Battalion, CRPF, and other officers of the Battalion also present.
