Gadchiroli Jan. 13 (District correspondent) Eklavya Tribal and Rural Development Foundation (ETRDF) had organized a health check up camp at a remote tribal village of Morawahi in Etapalli taluka recently.
, Dr. Kunal Kowe, President of the Foundation, Mr. Ravindra bhandarwar, Dy. CO, Municipal council, Gadchiroli, Ms. Suchita Bhandarwar, Akshay Shedmake, Talathi, Ritu Kowe, Secretary of the Foundation were prominently present on the occasion.
As many as 55 patients were examined in this camp. Dr. Ekta Kumre, Medical Officer examined the patients and gave them necessary medical treatment in this camp. Mr. Purushottam Aytulwar, PharmacistPallavi Sonule, Nurse, Surekha Atla, ASHA Worker assisted her in this task.
The foundation has been organizing such health camps in rural and tribal areas of the district to provide health services to the needy people. The initiative is organized throughout the year under which the doctors and other staff of the foundation visits the remote villages and examines the patients and gives them necessary medicines. So far more than 45 such camps have been organized successfully, told Mr. Kowe adding that this activity will be continued in the future too.
